In Between Projects

I  just felt like doing something outside of my school work tonight, so I did this painting just for fun. I plan on doing a quick painting like this every day. I might not get a chance to post them all, but I really think it will help improve my painting :) 

This was of my assignments for class. We were told to digitally paint a street pole as realistically as possible. It was really interesting to see that even though the pole was just black, there was so much reflected color from the environment around it.  I think I should do more assignments like this over summer, I would like to improve my rendering.
