I've been pretty busy with a new school project, and I will post some of that work once the project is finished. These are some quick studies of Mead Schaeffer's paintings. I really like his use of lighting and limited use of color.

This is a quick study of a photo I liked on Pinterest. I was struck by the lighting and the simple composition.

The painting below is a painting for my new project set in Chiloe. This is just an exploration painting to figure out the correct mood and colors for the story.
